Using Noa
Noa is a learning app. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Please do not resell it, redistribute its content, or use automated tools to bulk-extract lessons and questions.
Noa Plus
The curated catalog, the question of the day, streaks, XP, and spaced repetition are free and stay free.
Noa Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that adds AI-generated custom topics (subject to a monthly allowance shown in the app), the full archive, offline topic downloads, and detailed statistics.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Settings app under your Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Accuracy
Noa's curated catalog is drafted with the help of an AI model and checked by a person before it ships, and every question carries a link to its source so you can check it yourself.
Custom topics are generated by an AI model. They are drafted quickly and are not reviewed by a person before you see them. They can be wrong. Do not rely on Noa for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions. If a question looks wrong, report it from the app so it can be corrected.

Your custom topics
You keep whatever rights you have in the subject you type. By generating a topic, you give us permission to store it, review it for accuracy, and use what we learn from it to improve the catalog, including rewriting and publishing a similar topic as ordinary catalog content. Generated topics are private to you and are not shown to other users.
Do not ask Noa to generate material that is illegal, that targets or harasses a person, or that is designed to help someone cause harm. We may remove generated content and end access for accounts that do.
Availability
Noa is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that a specific topic will remain in the catalog, or that generation will always succeed. Features may change, and we may retire ones that do not work.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to Noa is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here takes away consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Noa after an update means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
